We are a design studio focused on delivering branding and strategy through design.
We believe in purposeful design. Design that combines form with function, creates value and is alluring. It is developed through a collaboration of instinct, talent, strategy and experience.
Our name is a translation from the French word, "charette," which often refers to a collaborative session in which a group of designers draft a solution to a design problem. We believe there is a defined methodology to purposeful design. And, our hallmark approach of collaboration strengthens the solution.
Chariot Design Process
Our approach incorporates three steps to reach a successful, purposeful design solution: dialogue, design, and delivery.
1. dialogue
Our design process focuses on incorporating our clients and understanding the end user. We begin each project by creating the conversations that shape projects, define goals, and ultimately determine success.
2. design
Purpose and intent are at the heart of every design decision we make. We collaborate with our clients throughout the design stages to deliver solutions that are lasting, relevant, and deliberate.
3. deliver
While aesthetically pleasing, the deliverables result in a package of tangible tools that augment the value of a brand's message, solve problems, and create a platform for success—design with a purpose.
Chariot Team
As Design Principal and Co-Founder of Chariot, Trisha Hay is adept in a wide variety of fine arts and graphic design techniques, crafting concepts that visually represent the intended communication objective with an inspiring creative execution. She ensures that all layouts are fine-tuned to appropriately resonate with the desired audience. Ever the consummate brand-builder, she lives by her conviction that creative concepts must not only be inspired, but designed with meaningful purpose. Trisha also serves the administrative and operational role and is subsequently business savvy and bottom-line conscious.
As lead designer and co-founder of Chariot, Ben Child creates a diverse portfolio of creative solutions ranging from digital media and interactive design to traditional print layouts. His specialties and talents are multifaceted and always hone the proper skill set to evoke the desired response. He dedicates the requisite time for adequate research to support the strategy behind the creative concept. Always providing design with purpose, his executions are perfectly crafted for the audience.
